Muktinath Overland Tour is a perfect getaway for tourists looking for an easy, short, and cultural tour. The tour with easy drives explores famous cities with great beauty and cultures.  The trip to one of the most sacred Hindu temples is a must for anyone longing for a religious experience.

Muktinath is a sacred temple for Hindus and Buddhists all over the world that lies in the Muktinath valley at 3800 meters. The name Mukti Shetra translates to “Place of salvation” as devotees are believed to receive Moksha after visiting the temple. Buddhists call the temple “Chumig Gyatsa” which translates to “hundred waters”. For the Tibetan Buddhists “Muktinath” is a place of Dakinis goddesses, a sacred tantric place.

Muktinath is surrounded by 108 sprouts of holy water which is believed to cure all physical and mental problems if one bathes in them. A Buddhist Gompa and Jwalamai temple are also present in the temple premises. The spring and eternal flame, the earth-water-fire combination, give the temple its religious significance.
