Pisang Peak falls in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The total altitude of the peak is 6091 meters and this makes Pisang Peak Climbing one of the best.
Pisang Peak Climbing is an 18-day journey and it also involves trekking in the beautiful region of Manang and Mustang region. This trip is certainly a challenging one but an adventurous nonetheless.
The best time for Pisang Peak Climbing would be during the months of March, April and May. The second phase to climb would be the months of September, October and November.
Get ready to be mesmerized by the view of mountains such as Tilicho, Annapurna and Gangapurna.
We will also cross the legendary Thorong La Pass which is one of the highest mountain passes in the world.
In order to complete the Pisang Peak Climbing, you need to have basic mountaineering experience. As you will be going as high as 6091 meters, you should definitely take precautions.

You can rest for the day and during the evening we will have dinner where you will be served Nepali dishes.</p><p></p>

Your guides will check your climbing equipment and give you necessary suggestions. If you have not brought some of the equipment, you can make your purchase. This time should also be used to bond with your guides and fellow climbers.</p><p></p>

During the bus ride, you will see Nepali countryside and quite a few rivers. We will reach Dharapani after about 11-12 hours. We will spend our night in Dharapani.</p><p></p>

The route to Chame consists of rocky paths and we will pass through forest trails.</p><p></p><p>On our way to Chame, we will spot mountains such as Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II and Annapurna IV.</p>

We will walk through forest trails on this day. The trail takes a slight ascend and we will again be able to spot few mountains.</p><p></p><p>After walking for about 5-6 hours, we will reach Upper Pisang. We will rest here for the night.</p>

This will help our body acclimatize with the increasing altitude. We can also go around Upper Pisang and understand the local culture which surely will help you have a better picture of the people here.</p><p></p><p>We will also be able to see mountains such as Annapurna, Gangapurna and Tilicho.</p>
<p>Accommodation: Camping</p><p></p><p>Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner</p><p></p><p></p><p>Duration: 4-5 hours</p><p></p><p>On the seventh day of the trek, we'll start our journey early in the morning. We will head up the trail and pass through a thin forest trail before we enter a grassland.</p><p></p><p>Here we will set up our camp as from here on now there are no teahouses available.</p>

The journey to the high camp will be quite challenging but an adventurous one nonetheless.</p><p></p><p>It will take about 3-4 hours to get to High Camp. After reaching there we will set up our camps.</p><p></p><p>Our guides will then help you prepare for the climb. You will be given training on peak climbing and how to use your gears like ice axe, climbing boots, crampons, harness, ascender among other things. You will also be required to do training which involves going up and down using ropes.</p><p></p><p>Don’t worry, the training will not be tough but it will rather help you get acquainted with the climbing techniques. We will rest for the night in High Camp.</p>

The trail gets really tricky here as we will be walking mostly on rocky surfaces. After a while, we will be required to take a steep climb.</p><p></p><p>After climbing on a ridge with the help of a 20 meters rope, we will be required to use a 200 meters rope again to get to the summit.</p><p></p><p>From the summit, you will be able to experience the sight of Annapurna ranges. After staying in the summit for a while we head back to the Base Camp. It is going to take 8-9 hours and we will spend the night in Pisang Peak Base Camp.</p>

We might not be able to reach the summit in case of bad weather.</p><p></p><p>But we only take a reserve day in case of bad weather, if the weather's fine we will get to the summit and this day shall not be counted.</p>

From the Pisang Base Camp, we will get down to the village of Pisang. We will then continue our journey to Manang.</p><p></p><p>We will take the route from Upper Pisang and cross the village of Geru. This route offers a spectacular view of the mountains such as Annapurna and Pisang among others. We will also visit the famous monastery which is called Barge and it is also the biggest monastery in Manang region. We will reach Manang in 5-6 hours and rest there for the night.</p>

We will ascend until we reach the village of Tenki. We then continue our journey and pass through Marshyangdi valley.</p><p></p><p>The trail again starts to pick up on its altitude and we will come across very few pasture lands and small patches of juniper trees.</p><p></p><p>Before reaching Yak Kharka, we will have to cross Ghunsa. We will again come across yak pasture lands. We will then cross a wooden bridge and after a while, we will finally reach Yak Kharka.</p>

We will cross a suspension bridge and walk until we reach Ledar village. We will then carry on with our journey as our trail takes us through a rocky path. On our way, we will spot several mountains such as Gundang, Syagang and Khatungkan. After about 4-5 hours of walking we will finally reach Thorong Phedi.</p><p></p><p>Thorong Phedi is the last stop before the legendary Thorong La Pass. We spend the night here. We will also go to bed quite early as we will have to start at 3 in the morning.</p>

This pass is one of the highest passes in the world. Our objective this day would be to cross this Pass.</p><p></p><p>We leave early in the morning and will encounter a steep trail right in the beginning. This is quite challenging as we go from an altitude of 4420 meters to 5416 meters.</p><p></p><p>After walking almost 6 hours we will reach Thorong. The enticingly blue sky and the spectacular view of the mountains will make this experience a worthwhile one. We will then head to Muktinath for a well-deserved rest.</p>

Muktinath is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for people of Hinduism and Buddhism</p><p></p><p>After a brief tour, we will continue our journey. After about 5-6 hours we will reach Jomsom which is another important commercial town in this region. We can also visit the famous Ecological Museum. We spend the night in Jomsom and this will be the last day of walking.</p>
<p>Accommodation: 3-star hotel in Pokhara</p><p></p><p></p><p>Meals: Breakfast</p><p></p><p>We take a morning flight from Jomsom and head to Pokhara. In Pokhara, we spend the evening the famous Lake Side. You can try the local cuisine as we celebrate our successful Pisang Peak Climbing trip.</p>
<p>We will leave for Kathmandu after our breakfast. The bus ride will take 6-7 hours and we will reach Kathmandu.</p><p></p><p></p><p>In the evening you can go to the famous tourist hub of Kathmandu - Thamel. This will be your last day in Nepal so you can do your souvenir shopping.</p>
<p>You will be heading back to your home. Your trip has finally come to an end. Our representatives will drop you off at the airport.
