Everest Base Camp Trek 5 days

Maximum Altitude: Phakding (2660m) Trek Distance: 8 km Trek Duration: 3 Hours Flight Duration: 45-minutes Our representative staff will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to the Tribhuvan International airport early in the morning. After an adventurous flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, we start our trek to Phakding. Lukla airport is one of the smallest airstrips in the world with only 527 meters of runaway. You can observe the incredible snow-capped mountains from the top in this 45-minutes flight. Our trekking journey officially starts after arriving at Lukla. Lukla is a quaint town in the Everest region with monasteries, chortens, settlements, and lodges/hotels. After crossing the busy streets of Lukla, we will ascend towards Phakding. You can observe the green vegetation with colorful rhododendrons trees along the trail. You will arrive at Phakding after 3 hours of trekking. After arriving at Phakding, you can go on a further exploration of the city. You will stay overnight at a tea house or lodge in Phakding.

Maximum Altitude: Namche Bazaar (3,440m) Trek Distance: 3 km Trek Duration: 7-8 Hours After breakfast, we start our trek from Phakding and head to Namche Bazaar. The trails on this trek consists of gradual ascents and hence is quite challenging. You will also enter the famous Sagarmatha National Park. The beautiful atmosphere and rugged trails is the highlight of the trek. We walk alongside the Dudh Koshi river, passing through the Pine, and Rhododendron forests. You can also observe the breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains including Kusum Kanguru and Thamserku. There are steep climbs and you will also have to cross the narrow lanes of the Bhote Koshi River and Dudh Koshi. Finally, we cross the suspension bridge covered with colorful flags, to arrive at the famous town of Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazar is a commercial town in the mountains. You can explore the vibrant atmosphere of the town with magnificent monasteries, cafes, hotels, pubs, restaurants, bars, and others. Moreover, the nightlife of Namche is reminiscent of Thamel. Namche Bazaar also has the world’s highest Irish Pub located at an altitude of 3440m. Various viewpoints along the trail provide magnificent views of the snow-capped mountains of the region. We will stay overnight at a lodge/hotel in Namche Bazar.

Maximum Altitude: Syangboche (3,790m) Trek Distance: 4 km Trek Duration: 2-3 hours After observing the incredible sunrise views from Namche Bazaar, we start our trek journey. The sight of golden rays of sun falling upon the silver mountains is awe-inspiring. You will hike the narrow lanes and also spot the majestic Mt. Everest. The first glimpse of the highest mountain peak in the world will inspire you. The trek is extremely taxing with long, steep ascents. There are various prayer wheels and Buddhist monasteries along the trail. You can find monks and nuns worshiping and working in the monasteries. Besides that, you can also observe the magnificent views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and other snow-capped mountains. Additionally, there are beautiful hilly landscapes and meadows where Yaks and Blue Sheep graze. You can also find the famous Everest View Hotel in Syangboche. This hotel holds the record for being the highest placed hotel in the world. You can stay at a teahouse in Syangboche overnight.

Maximum Altitude: Everest Base Camp (5,364m)/Kala Patthar (5,643m) Helicopter Flight duration: Around 15-20 minutes We have our breakfast early in the morning while observing the scenic vista. We will then prepare ourselves for a helicopter tour towards the Everest Base Camp or Kalapathar. You can observe the exciting views of the entire Khumbu Valley. The helicopter ride takes you over the Everest Base Camp, Khumbu Glacier, and Kala Patthar. You can observe the highest mountain peaks in the world including Everest, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and others. Kala Patthar offers a great vantage point of the Khumbu region. You will be standing on the lap of the highest mountains in the world and observe the 360 degrees panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains. Furthermore, Kala Patthar is a picturesque spot and hence, many photographers prefer Kala Pathar to take pictures of Mt. Everest. After observing the beautiful landscapes, we make our way back to Lukla. You can take the helicopter ride back to Lukla and stay overnight at the hotel.

Maximum Altitude: Kathmandu (1400m) Flight Duration: 45-minutes After breakfast, we will take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu. You can observe the beautiful landscapes of the Himalayas for the last time. The beautiful aerial views of the entire Everest region is enchanting. After arriving at Kathmandu, our representative will transfer you to the hotel.
