The very best times for 3 days Everest Base Camp trek or any other trip in Nepal are Autumn and Spring. Both of these seasons are also known as the peak seasons to do things in Nepal. It’s because of their adventure friendly weather conditions they are considered as the best times.
Autumn makes sign in from the start of September and remains through October and November. Any day you come in these months, days are warm, clear are the skies, no fear or sign of rainfall or snowfall. The days of Autumn are the best to enjoy the unobstructed views of Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and many other peaks. It’s an awesome trekking experience in Nepal during Autumn. That is why trials of Everest Base Camp and other trails are flocked with a good number of trekkers.
Likewise, Spring, the other best time for 3 Days Everest Base Camp is pretty similar to Autumn. The only difference is Spring is slightly chilly and colder than Autumn. This slightly cold Spring season takes over the clouds of Nepal from March to May just after the Winter. It is also a season of new flowers. You will be trekking on a warm day amid newly blossomed Rhododendron flowers and enriched vegetation. There is no chance of either snowfall or rainfall rather one will enjoy the mountain views all day long.
On the other hand, Monsoon and Winter are low times for adventures in Nepal. Better known as the off-seasons for trekking Nepal, Monsoon is a rainy season and Winter is the coldest season of all. The rain makes the trail slippery, arouses landslides, clouds before mountains so it is not a good season to trek. In the same manner, Winter brings bone-chilling cold and heavy snowfall, hence it is difficult to trek during such times.
Thus, the best times for 3 days Everest Base Camp itinerary are Autumn and Spring. Yet knowing everything about off-seasons(Winter & Monsoon) you still want to try on this trip, consult our Himalayas On Foot team and they will provide the safest and successful itinerary.
